Edmonda Fung Yuen Lam 林楓源

Edmonda Fung Yuen Lam, conspicuous young pianist. Hong Kong Piano Music Association presented her first solo recital in 2017 at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall, with Guangdong Pearl River . Her first solo and concerto album were both released in the same year. She has performed as a guest pianist with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Tianjin Symphonic Orchestra, Guangdong Pearl River Cinema Philharmonic Orchestra, Guangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, she co-founded the Blakeana Duo with clarinetist Chan Ka Hei. They appeared in multiple concerts in Canada, New York, and Hong Kong, receiving unanimous acclaim from the audience.

Recent years, Edmonda has been invited to serve as a judge in different piano competitions. Besides, her students has won the champions in various major piano competitions, including St. Petersburg International Music Competiton, the Asia Pacific Outstanding Youth Piano Competition, Tom Lee Music Culture Competition, Hong Kong Arts Competition etc.

Edmonda started her piano journey at the age of four. She has passed the Licentiate of Trinity College London (95/100) and Associate of Trinity College London (92/100) with high distinction. She is also the champion winner in different competitions, including Hong Kong Asia Piano Competition, Macau Asia Piano Competition etc.

Under the training by Professor Yau Tin Fu, she became the only Hong Kong student to be admitted into the Piano Performance major at the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) that year. She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in classical piano performance at MSM, with a scholarship under Dr. Marc Silverman (Chair of Piano Department). During her study years, she was coached by Mr. Charles Neidich for her chamber music studies. She was also appointed as a collaborative pianist at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Divisions.

林楓源，著名青年鋼琴家。香港鋼琴音樂協會於2017年在香港大會堂演奏廳為她主辦了首場個人獨奏音樂會，並由廣東珠影樂團協奏，全場滿座，觀眾反應熱烈。同年她也發佈了第一張個人專輯。她曾作為客席鋼琴家與烏克蘭國家愛樂樂團、天津交響樂團、廣東珠影樂團、廣州交響樂團和香港管弦樂團等合作演出。與此同時，她與單簧管演奏家陳家熙組成的Blakeana Duo在加拿大、紐約以及香港等地舉辦多次演出，引起熱烈迴響。

近年來多次獲邀於不同鋼琴比賽擔任評委。她的學生於多個大型鋼琴比賽中赢得不同重要組別冠軍，包括聖彼得堡國際音樂比賽，亞太傑出青少年鋼琴比賽，通利音樂文化盃，香港藝術比賽等。

林楓源4歲開始學習鋼琴，她以優秀成績考獲聖三一演奏文憑ATCL ( 92/100分）LTCL （95/100分）。多年來在香港澳門最具代表性的亞洲鋼琴公開比賽中多次屢獲殊榮，榮獲多個最重要項目冠軍，評判團予以一致好評。

在邱天虎老師的指導下，成為當年唯一考入美國曼哈頓音樂學院（MSM）鋼琴系的香港人，並在鋼琴演奏系主任 Marc Silverman博士的獎學金資助下攻讀了古典鋼琴表演的學士和碩士學位。碩士期間，有幸跟隨單簧管教父Charles Neidich 深造單簧管與鋼琴二重奏。在此期間，她還被特別任命為曼哈頓音樂學院預科部的協作鋼琴家。
